Microblading Truth

The Truth about Microblading

My phone is ringing off the hook! Who wouldn’t want a “semi-permanent" application for gorgeous brows? Women seeking perfect eyebrows are falling for widespread misinformation about Microblading, across the internet. They are believing the results are temporary and trusting if they don’t like their outcome they will fade before they know it. Not so!

Microblading is an advanced tattoo technique. In the right artist’s hands this can be an incredible blessing. It is NOT “semi-permanent” as promoted by many with two days of Microblading training and no prior tattoo experience. It is a tattoo, it is “permanent” and color boosts are needed every 12-18 months.

The difference between machine tattooing and Microblading, with a hand tool, is how pigment is implanted. With Microblading the needles glide across the skin and deposit less pigment than with machine needles that go in and out of the skin in an up and down motion.

Consultation is necessary to determine whether one is a candidate for Microblading. Not all skin types are ideal for Microblading brows and that’s when a soft, diluted machine brow is a great option.
